Recovering the range of the movement is also a very essential thing. Stand with heels hanging on one step. Then drop the heel and wait for 30 seconds, and then switch the sides. You should repeat this exercise to stretch the gastrocnemii for three times. Then repeat the exercise again with a bent knee to stretch soleus.
3. Other tendinopathies: This list includes tibialis posterior, peroneal and tibialis anterior tendinopathies. These are common injuries due to ankle overuse. The first one affects the inside, outside and in front of the ankle. This can be painful to touch and to the moment when the muscle is tested.
