Homeopathy acts quickly in acute illnesses but it takes a little longer to affect a cure in chronic ailments. The medicines start working immediately but the time taken to heal depends on the individual’s immune system, stress factors, lifestyle, habits and personality.
- Myth – Homeopathic medicines contain steroids.
Homeopathic medicines are made of natural ingredients such as plants, animal products, naturally occurring elements, compounds and minerals etc. They are tested in recognized labs and contain no steroids or other chemicals.
- Myth – Homeopathic medicines are unsafe for pregnant women.
Homeopathy is the ideal medicine for pregnant women where as allopathic drugs can have possible side-effects on both mother and child. They are safe for both mother and the growing baby.
