Is it safe to take online / distance homeopathic treatment ?
Homeopathy is the most suitable therapy for online / distance treatment. (for reasons see above question about Benefits of Homeopathy). It is very safe and effective even in children, elderly and in pregnancy.. Secondly we are always available to solve your queries and problems. For non urgent queries, our response time is about 48 hours and in urgent conditions it can be as early as 15 minutes.
Is your treatment available for my country ? What will happen if I move from my place ?
Our services are available for people around the globe. Only thing that you need is to communicate with us as per your choice and convenience. Your movement from one place to another does not affect your treatment. That is another wonderful benefit of online / distance treatment. But you must immediately intimate your new address to enable us update your records.
What is the online / distance treatment procedure?
On receiving the request from your side along with applicable charges, (see payment options in Online Treatment section) we will send one questionnaire with questions dealing with sickness details & its history, lifestyle, personality pattern etc. Instructions regarding filling of form and treatment process will be sent to you. You are required to fill the form and send it to us along with copies of investigations patient has undergone. The case will be thoroughly studied by Dr S K Sharma. You will then receive a set of medicines along with detailed instructions for taking medicines and other measures for improvement of lifestyle and psychological status. Is my information safe & confidential with you ?
All the information provided by you is entirely safe and confidential. Your case (in either hard copy or soft copy) is seen only by Dr S K Sharma and remains with him. No third person has access to this information. Therefore all information is only between you and your doctor. This information is neither shared nor sold in any condition whatsoever.
What is the payment procedure ? Is it safe ? Is it refundable ?
Payment at EBMC is easy and cost effective. You can choose from any of following.
Online Consultation Charges
20 US Dollars (or equivalent) per consultation.
40 US Dollars (or equivalent) for three consultations.
80 US Dollars (or equivalent) for six month’s consultations.
Medicine charges – These are extra and depend on type and quantity of medicine.
Approximately it varies between 20 – 70 US Dollars (or equivalent) per month.
The charges for postage are extra.

How do I give you details of my sickness ? Why so many questions are asked ?
The questionnaire you receive contains questions related to sickness, lifestyle, personality pattern, life history etc. These questions are significant as these give the complete picture of your sickness and explain why and how sickness has occurred and progressed. All these questions are important and relevant to your sickness and its treatment. Kindly answer those in detail as this will help in finding correct treatment. Information related to Physical Examination can be provided to us through copy of your medical papers (if you recently undergone examination) or you can get yourself examined by your GP / Family Physician and forward report to us. All information provided by you is available only to the doctor and remains fully confidential.
How will I receive medicine ?
After the case is analyzed, the medicines selected by the doctor will be sent to you by reputed courier service / FedEx. This will include medicines for treatment of sickness as well as some other medicines which you might require during course of treatment.
How long it takes to complete process and start treatment ?
Dispatch of questionnaire is done within 24 hours of receiving consultation charges. If you have opted for online treatment you will receive it instantly and if you want it by courier, then expected time depends on location of your place. On receiving the questionnaire back after it is completed by you, it is analyzed by the doctor within 48 hours and the selected medicines are dispatched within 24 hours of case analysis. Again the expected time of receiving medicines depend on your location.
Should I stop allopathic / conventional treatment which I am already taking? Can I take other therapies like acupressure along with homeopathic treatment ?
Holistic therapies never undermine the significance of allopathic / conventional treatment. Do not stop your treatment and visit to doctor / GP / Family physician. Some medical conditions especially those in which you have been taking regular medicines (for example hypertension, diabetes) require that you continue the medication for the time being. The approach followed at Ethos is one of coordination and integration of various modes of treatment in a systematic scientific manner thereby producing a synergistic effect towards wellbeing at all levels. After the improvement with holistic treatment you can ask your doctor to review the doses and reduce medicines and their doses as per requirement. A stage may come when on regaining health you can stop medicines under the medical supervision. Same principle applies to other therapies like acupressure but be careful by not being in hands of unqualified / unskillful therapists.
Do I need investigations to be done?
Yes, holistic therapies give due place to pathological process and proper diagnosis of sickness by investigations. They also help in assessing progression of sickness. You should provide copies of investigations already done. You will be guided in case some more tests are required.
How long treatment continues.
Holistic treatment is safe, effective & fast. Since it is not suppression of sickness, the duration depends on the type and stage of sickness as well as on individual’s reaction to treatment.
Are these medicines safe? Do they also have side effects ?
Yes, the medicines provided to you are very safe even in children, pregnant women and elderly. These are all natural medicines. But it is important to stick to the dosage prescribed. Remember over medication never reduces sickness rather increases it. Also don’t forget to tell in detail about progress so that we can make necessary changes in further medication. Homeopathy is free from side effects until it is grossly abused.
When homeopathy is safe, why I should not buy homeopathic medicine from local store / online and treat my own disease ? There are so many ready made homeopathic combinations available for my sickness.
Homeopathy is very safe but even then self treatment must be avoided because it requires a doctor’s analysis to examine the case, to select right medicine in right potency (strength) and right doses. It requires deep knowledge of homeopathy to decide when to repeat medicine, when to change it, increase its potency or change dosage. Only a medically qualified person in homeopathy can understand how to select medicine, how medicine is working and how sickness is progressing. Using self medication or readymade combinations for treating sickness is wrong according to homeopathy. As told it requires careful monitoring of a doctor who selects appropriate medicine and monitors treatment.
Will you give a prescription ?
Due to individualistic nature of homeopathic treatment and to prevent abuse of homeopathic medicines, prescriptions are not provided. But those who wish to know about their treatment can anytime discuss this with their doctor. On specific request prescription will be provided
How are these medicines made and tested?
These medicines are not checked on animals, there is no cruelty involved. These medicines are tested on human volunteers who are in good health. There is no damage done to health of these volunteers.
Do you use steroids?
No, we do not use steroids. Our medicines are all from international standard pharmacies and there is no disguise. These can be tested in any authorized lab. Our mission is to provide you good health and we are against indiscriminate use of steroids or any other agent just to show quick result and fool people. We are proud to give highest priority to medical ethics.
How homeopathic medicine is taken ?

What are the doses of medicines?
You will be instructed about doses according to the type and stage of sickness.

Homeopathic medicines start working immediately when one takes them. Their reaction and apparent improvement depends on type and stage of sickness and on individual’s reaction to medicine. Homeopathy is not slow. It works within minutes in acute diseases and in chronic diseases it takes less time than most other therapies to give relief. Whatever time it takes in chronic diseases is because of the fact that does not suppress symptoms but stimulates body’s healing ability (immunity). In rare cases a slight aggravation (increase) is observed and that is a positive sign as it shows medicine is working in right direction. This aggravation is temporary and subsides very soon.
What if I take wrong medicine?
Homeopathic medicines are safe still it is better to be careful and prevent taking wrong medicine. If this happens, immediately report this to EBMC and we will guide you about course of action.
What are the precautions I need to take?
You should be careful about the medicine and the doses. Take medicines at prescribed time. Carefully note the reaction and report to us. Follow the instructions given to you along with medicine.
Are there any dietary and other restrictions?
These vary from case to case. You will be guided accordingly.
What if I get some acute disease during treatment of my chronic sickness ?
You should immediately report this to us. Your medicine set will contain medicines which are likely to be used in such event. You will be guided accordingly. Also you must see your Doctor / GP / Family physician for your acute condition. Remember homeopathy is not in contradiction with conventional medicine and if you take conventional medicine for acute condition, it will have no undue effect on homeopathic treatment.
How to store medicines? How long these can be stored ?
The medicines should be kept in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, fire, strong smell, children, radiation, vibrations, magnets, computer, TV sets. Do not change the medicine container. Do not touch medicine. Homeopathic medicines do not get spoiled if above mentioned precautions are taken.
I got well so can I use my medicine to treat other person with same complaint ?
You can not as homeopathic medicine differ from person to person even with similar complaints. Only doctor with deep understanding of homeopathy can select appropriate medicine. Wrong medicine results in failure of treatment and advancement of sickness.
